Privacy

Stand-in is run by Naturally Creative. It makes photographs from reference images and descriptions that a workspace provides. This page says what is stored, where, and who can see it.

What is stored

Your account (name and email), the people and places your workspace has added with their reference images, the scenes you describe, the images made from them, and a ledger of each request to the image model.

Where

Everything is stored in Sydney, Australia. To make an image, the relevant reference images and your description are sent to Google's Gemini API, which processes them outside Australia. They are sent for that request only.

Who can see it

Only members of your workspace. Nothing is public, and images are served through links that expire after ten minutes.

Real people

A real person can only be used once an admin has recorded their consent, and stops being usable when that consent expires. Children are synthetic characters by default.

Your data

You can export what you have made, and delete your account, from Settings. Questions: matt@naturallycreative.com.au.
